Important Message from the Dean of Enrollment Services: 2024-2025 FAFSA Processing Delay & Support Resources
Over 92% of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students who are enrolled in programs leading to a degree, certificate, or diploma receive some type of Federal Student Aid to help cover the costs of their education.
Students are also eligible for other forms of aid that can help cover the costs of tuition, fees, books, and living expenses such as rent, transportation, and childcare.
We strongly encourage students needing financial assistance to apply for aid, and we are available to assist you with the application process.

Financial Aid Deadlines
We strongly encourage students to fill out the FAFSA before May 1 for the next school year so they can qualify for a Maine State Grant if otherwise eligible.
Financial aid applications are processed as they are received at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø.
We cannot guarantee the applications submitted less than two weeks before the start of the term will be awarded in time for students to be able to use a bookstore credit, if eligible, to “charge” their books against their financial aid before school starts.
Scholarships
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø offers scholarships to support students academic and career goals. Scholarships are awarded to students attending ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. Students are awarded one scholarship at the highest dollar amount.
WORTHINGTON SCHOLARSHIP is committed to making a college education affordable for students in Maine by awarding scholarships to graduates of Maine public high schools who will be attending participating Maine colleges. Awards are based on financial need and merit and are renewable for up to eight semesters. We are proud to partner with the Worthington Scholarship Foundation to provide this incredible scholarship opportunity to eligible students who attend ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. SOARING BACK SCHOLARSHIP-$300 The Soaring Back scholarship is available for former ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students, who did not graduate with a degree, and want to return to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø and complete their degree. Returning students must be in good academic and financial aid standing; be admitted to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø; be a Maine resident; complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA); and have unmet need. The scholarship is renewable for two semester with a 2.25 cumulative grade point average.
